PSU was the most horrible possible crap possible and the coverup went to the highest levels. I thought the punishment was appropriate and fail to understand reducing the punishment. It is not like all those young boys got unraped. But if ncaa is reducing the penalties for that then USC's should also get off what is left of theirs. It is obvious to everyone at this point the Miami should get time served, well maybe not to the ******** at ncaa.

I think the ACC, Pac 10, Big 10, and B 12(or whatever they are called) should break away from ncaa and form new governing body and hold it's onw National Championship Game. Leave the insestuous SEC/ncaa marriage by itself. TV money will always follows two things, markets and ratings. SEC has smallest markets and left alone will become the old South West Conference wiht Bama playing the part of Texas. Ratings in the small markets of the SEC will remain high, but all the major markets, except Atlanta, belong to the other conferences. Any SEC sponsered "championship game" will become merely a regional not National Championship. Recruiting will even out because want to play for National Titles.

Safeguards will have to taken against the B 10 becoming the new SEC because they are every bit as greedy and crooked, but that can be done. It is the only way to get out of the mess. SEC owns the NCAA and any changes made will only make things better for the SEC.

I'm telling you guys, this USC appeal and our case are mutually dependent. I'm afraid the NCAA is going to use USC as precedent for our case. Backpedalling on USC now would undermine the legitimacy of UM's sanctions. That's why I previously stated that they were not mutually exclusive and one decision (the USC appeal) had to be made before the other (UM's sanctions) is made public.
