So if the Big 10 adds 2 to the current 14 to become 16 schools instead of 14 and the Big 12, who has 10, losing 2 and adding 4 moves to 12, then the Pac 12 losing 2 will remain the Pac 12?

The ACC Commissioner that made that awful deal with ESPN killed the conference. While the B10 & SEC are about to be getting $100MM, ACC teams are stuck with $30MM. The ACC is awful.

THIS is when you neutralize the power of the SEC and NOT add to it. So the ACC either needs to start adding teams real soon or we just need to merge the football schools of the conference with the Big Ten. Create a nationwide footprint and relegate the SEC to essentially being a regional conference that wields less power and faux prestige.

This is the only reason I’m not stressing Miami getting left behind. Clemson was rumored to the SEC when OU and Texas joined. He’s not gonna just sit on his hands.

Yup. Rumors are that B10 is offering $80M+ per school, per year, if they could poach the LA schools. Well...the first domino seems like it just fell.

This would most likely save the ACC. It's TV deal has a clause that said it can be renegotiated if the ACC hits 16 teams.
