Nothing too exciting, certainly less than what they did to Jacory Harris that day.Wow what'd you do to Virginia lol
I went to the game with some buddies that went to UM and a friend that went to UVA. We had brought flasks with us and were in the grassy area behind one of the end zones; my buddy who went to UVA said to use the bathroom to put booze into my soda, but like a dummy I ignored him. A minute later a plain clothes cop came up and pulled me aside.
They took my flask, but actually let me go back to the game. Now this is where I got the 'lifetime ban'... I had another flask on me. I legitimately was not going to use it as I didn't want to take any chances, since it was sentimental (given as a gift) and I didn't want to risk getting kicked out. I was actually planning to go to the bathroom to empty it and move it to my front pocket (it was in my back), but before I could and even though I had not taken it out, the same cop came back up to me a few minutes later and said:
Cop: You have a second flask, you lied to me
Me: With all due respect sir - and I realize I am in the wrong here - but I did not lie to you; you never said anything or asked about another flask. Why would I lie to you when you are a police officer and could have easily patted me down and found it. I truly was planning to just go to the bathroom and empty it as I didnt want to lose the flask.
Cop: Come with me
In retrospect, I probably should have just told them when they brought me up the first time that I had another flask and asked if I could just empty it since it was sentimental, but I didn't think of that and they likely would have confiscated it anyway.
They ended up taking that flask, kicking me out of the game and telling me that I was banned forever, but it's not like they have pictures of me up at the stadium... at least I don't think they do - haven't been back since.
