I agree with Dingaan.
31 arrests + winning @ Florida= media darling
31 arrests + winning @ Miami= Hurricanes have no football team

No thanks to Urban. Winning like that isn't worth losing the opportunity of watching my Canes.

Just read the NY Times article . . . anyone thinks that's a rip job or hard on Florida is living in a bubble. That was old news and protective, to a degree, of Urbie.
 
These articles didn't bring up anything about Percy Harvin allegedly grabbing and choking his position coach

That's exactly the reason I wouldn't want him. Nothing to do with his coaching. UM would not survive the media spotlight.

By all accounts, Percy was a model Gator on and off the field, who only later wore out his welcome in Minnesota. He cared deeply for his coach and simply got a bit emotional expressing his appreciation.

Florida paid 1 million dollars to Urban when he retired. 6 months later he was pursuing the Ohio St job.

This isn't just going to go away. Somebody will have to take the fall for this. My guess is the Police will since those involved are now retired. Once the Boston and NY media started digging, Urbie is getting worried. Gainesville and Orlando media are barely treating this like a story. He didn't have a panic attack at UF because he lost to Alabama. He lost his marbles because he lost control of his locker room and was dealing with this **** all the time

exhale.......just worry about golden recruiting the same players as UF and now OSU....cuz th top 100 only go to about 6 schools.,....

This. They barely scratched the surface on what went on there. Forgetting to mention how he bristled anytime a reporter dared to ask about all the arrests and stating that he only recruits the top 1% of the top 1% of character kids. It has been said before but if they didn't have the messiah of CFB being the beard for their team, people would of noticed awhile ago that something was ***** in gville.

Miami- free lobster and steak, boats and hos = long term penalty
Florida- paid off victim in aggravated battery case, paid off and or derailed attempted murder, shooting in to an occupied vehicle charges= no investigation
 
I don't think it's the police there as much as the people that drop the charges. They either get threatened, paid, or both, to not press the case.
 
NYC radio trashing Meyer and UF, saying they won championships off criminals and hid it with Tebow, and should be treated as PSU. Awesome.
 
Nothing to see here folks, SEC country.

Can only imagine the media outcry if this happened at Miami.
