Would the ideal OL look like…

LT - Bell/Samson
LG - Rivers
C - Lee
RG - Cooper
RT - Francis

Samson/McCoy might be impatient but that’s a pretty **** good starting 5 there with two quality backups
I think this is likely. Depends on how Samson heals up, progresses in S&C, and adapts to a larger role. Right side is definitely set though.

Bell, while a monster, had some concerning habits in his film that I saw. Knee bend wasn't great, but he's also 6' 10". Foot speed and coordination was iffy, and he was a waist bender/leaner in his blocking. Needs to improve his punch too. But great tools to work with.

Funny part is I actually believe you. These mock drafts are insanity.

Makes me laugh when ppl run with the year early mock drafts lol
I don’t purposely search mock drafts for that very reason. It just happened to pop up on a news feed I follow and my curiosity overtook my reason. LOL.

Jalen Rivers - going through his decision making process now but solid chance he’s back for another. Has an opportunity to get his Masters degree. Scouts think he’s playing out of position as a tackle — will play guard at the next level. 6th-7th round grade right now, could help himself coming back and working on his “stiffness” as was put to me

Matt Lee - Late/PFA grade right now and Miami pushing hard to get him back. Trusts Mario/Mirabal obviously. Getting him back would be absolutely massive

I’ll throw in some NIL money if they both come back

****, this would be great. If we can basically just lose Javion and Tyler from the starting 11 on offense, we'd have an opportunity to build on a pretty solid foundation for the first time in forever (with an upgraded, more experienced talent base next year too)

So we only lose two starters on Offense (Cohen and TVD) from a top 40 offense? I like that.

What this post sounds like is Rivers moves to LG and someone would come in at LT.
But they could keep Rivers there and let the NFL slide him inside.
That could mean, how Okunlola, progress on injury and developments goes, or Nelson injury comes through or what they can pick up in the portal.

This is a good problem to have. Just find an abo e average QB who keeps the ball in Miami's hands.

They would be good but you must be young!

Had some great lines in the past like 2001 that had I think 3 future NFL players and Shockey.

Miss those draft nights when our players were picked every 5th pick lol
You can probably count on one hand the amount of sacks that unit gave up and thats not with max protection against 3 man rush..

Yes I am salty about that madness, this oline has work to do if they need that much help

Encouraging that Rivers is considering his education in his decision process. Really not surprised as he seems like a really smart fella. Kinda surprised at Lee’s grade but then again, centers don’t seem to be a priority in the draft.
Pretty sure he was a 4.0gpa plus kid coming out of high school. I remember academics being huge for him and his family. I believe he comes from a military family too.

So many ways to get the “best 5” on the field I’m trying to hold back my enthusiasm haha

Rivers
Mauigoa
Lee
Cooper
Bell

I would love to see that combo with the caveat being I still think Samson and/or McCoy can make the leap and nap the LT spot (or RT if Bell is as legit as he looks)

Best part is I know these coaches will have it locked down

Yup and we still have Kinsler who they are apparently high on. He may need another year but with that line we can afford to give it to him. **** man our OL is huge across the board.
