Poorly worded, how about if kid is bad why offer ? and why would LSU take him ?

Both LSU & Miami have evaluted QBs poorly, don't look at either for the light

Look at Max's numbers, no matter how bad your team is that can't be it if you're a good qb

My issue is just the timing of the announcement. Why make Richt look bad now vs. waiting until March? Now media and recruits can run wide with speculation. March, who the F cares!

I think you are right. But the fact that he has offers from everywhere shows he's qualified to get an offer.

Most of those offers came when Max was much younger, and his potential looked like that of John Elway. Now he looks more like Sitkowski.

Also on ESPN front page. I exchanged a few tweets with Joel Anderson (writer of the article). Long story short, I was blocked for pointing out how the part of story he left out was that their #47 ranked recruit completed ~45% of his passes as a junior for 7 td and 6 ints.
