i could be wrong and hopefully i am. i have been wrong before.Your absolutely blind then. The level of competition that Martell faces in HS was vastly superior. He was 43-0 and played his best in big games. Jarren was just over .500. Martell was 25-28 in passing attempts this year and Jarren hasn’t thrown a pass yet. Martell is also a much better athlete and faster than Jarren. I am not bagging on Jarren, I think he has potential but your kidding yourself if you think at this point Jarren is better....
Which would be weird because what actual reason other then he'd make then money this year would the NCAA have to give him a waiver? No, but if the NCAA grants Fields a waiver next month who knows
No, but if the NCAA grants Fields a waiver next month who knows
To make it work, his schedule would have had to have been loaded every semester. plus taking a bunch of summer classes. I dont believe it.
It'll be an interesting qb battle if we get Martell and miss out on Hurts. According to the information out there, Martell would have to stay at OSU until the summer to graduate which would give Jarren an advantage. May the best man win
edit; Martell could also seek a waiver like Fields will do
Yes, it’s possible. Still doubt he did all thatit's easily doable. players usually take at least 2 summer classes/session if they're scholarship guys.
spring 17- 18
summer 17 1- 6
summer 17 2- 6
fall 17- 18

18 credits in his ee and redshirt year leaves him 12 credits short. 4 high school ap classes or 3 classes/summer instead of 2 puts him at 120, and that's not a very loaded schedule.
He was good enough for Urban Meyer but just OK for you!Ill take him but he looks 5'10 and has a weird funky throwing motion, looks very accurate but his arm doesnt look elite

Highly disagree, tate martell has a great arm and is very mobile.
I still think we end up with Hurts. We have what he wants most, playing time.
That Mark Richt royally fvcked the development of Jarren Williams up last season. You said it best, martell found time behind a top 5 pick meanwhile Williams couldn’t play over malik and Perry ?
So because a student, who was dismissed, called him a bad word, he is free to play immediately wherever he wants? I could maybe understand if it was a coach or paid employee. But a student who is no longer enrolled at the university? I’m not being racially insensitive, but that’s bull****. Why didn’t Fields quit as soon as it happened? You commit to play for schools in honky *** towns, that’s what happens. You don’t reward the kid for his bad decision.
Another twist to this is Fields sister just enrolled on a softball scholarship at UGA. She clearly doesn' t feel threatened by the "culture"
Bishop Gorman is pumping out TALENT like St. Thomas Aquinas. People go to that school to win even if its 2 hours away. Not saying Martell is only good because the talent around him. Just saying Jarren Williams didn't have that much talent around him
