CanesInSight.com has confirmed that Lorenzo Lingard is on campus ---- I reported over an hour ago that there was a BIG time 2018 recruit on campus this morning, and it was indeed about Lorenzo Lingard. I was told to keep it on the low

Update
It's down to Miami and Clemson according to a very close source to Lingard.

Many are wondering why Lingard took an unofficial visit to Miami on a Wednesday?? Here's why
- He wanted to get a feel for the campus during a school day. I'm hearing he's loving the visit and the Miami coaches are trying to seal the deal.

Youll cowards never learn.

I wonder if he's going to visit for this basketball game today?

No. We just left & are heading home.

Whatca got for us tweed

Come on man. I tried to provide some insight & that backfired. That dog only bites me once.
I don't blame you, don't say anything... Keep whatever info you got to yourself until the kid signs here.

Telling us anything will only set yourself up to be chum for the Piranhas.

too late, they'll already pounce on the little he just said & claim he's begging to be courted back, like they weren't egging him on this entire time.

clockwork

Two obvious things we need to do before FEB 1, 2018, to have a shot at eliteness

1) Win at least 11 games, including a bowl (preferably a NYD bowl)

1.5) beat FSU

2) build the IPF

Lol at people saying a recruitment is going to be a circus in every thread of the prospect. Quit trying to create drama all the **** time.... stfu lol what 5 star recruitment do you know that is clear cut and dry?.... not many

That's pretty rich coming from the drama queen of the board. Next thing you're going to tell us is that "crootin isn't for the weak hearted".

Also said this was one of the best visits he has been on. Really enjoyed talking to the professors, also talked to the track coaches and obviously the football coaches.

Seems like we are in a good spot. Not going to get my hopes up but this staff seems to be doing a good job recruiting him so far.

Lingard said that one of the highlights of the trip outside of the academic presentation was sitting down Mark Richt and the rest of the Hurricanes football coaches, but he added that he also enjoyed his time with the track and field coaches.

"That's something that I want to do in college," Lingard said.

"I got to speak from a few of the coaches and they just gave me some good information about how things would work with football players. They said I could do both [sports] which I like."

Lingard, who is ranked by 247Sports as the nation's No. 18 prospect and No. 2 running back in the class of 2018, has had his name linked to a number of different schools like Florida, Auburn and Ohio State the past few months. When asked Wednesday where the Hurricanes stood in his recruitment he said at the top.

"They are in that top group right now along with Texas and Clemson," Lingard said.

Lingard (6-0, 180) plans to return to Miami for an unofficial visit in two weeks. The U.S. Army All-American has no other visits set up at the moment.
