Taggart was fired year 3 and he didn’t lose to an fcs team and they have pretty much identical records at FSU I think and they extend him? If you go on tomahawknation.com read the comments. FSU fans are thrilled and say 8+ wins next year is the expectation.
Not to derail this thread of jubilee, but if you look at the FSU 2022 schedule they should win 8 games as they play a light schedule minus Miami, Clemson, and Florida

Not to derail your thread derail, but unless the schedule is filled with teams weaker than Jacksonville State, I don't know how light it can be.

Based off of his 2022 recruiting class? Guy lost to a fcs team and isn’t going bowling. How did he get an extension?
And as bad as that all is....ONLY Manny could snatch defeat from the mouth of victory. FSU's victory that day was out ticket out of mediocrity.

Real talk: Stuff like the Norvell extension give legs to the sentiment that Black Head Football Coaches get treated unfairly.

Talk progress all you want: Willie Taggart, 10-11 record = FIRED. Mike Norvell, 8-13 record = EXTENSION.
