Unsigned 2018 DT Moro Ojomo's senior highlights

I really thought we'd outgrown the "but can he play DT" joke, but it's happening all over again.

Find me two more DTs to go with Nesta, pls.

It's been our Achilles heel since Butch left.

(i'm not trying to turn this into a Butch Davis thread. So don't start)

Coah Kool just started following 4 star juco DT Dorian Gerald. Doesnt have an offer from us as of now but definitely someone to watch over these next 6 weeks.

Ojomo would be a great take. Aside from being a baller, he is the anti-Jobe... IIRC from a conversation with some guys at Katy, he is very young for his grade due to a weird system wherever he came from.

I don't think it's desperation. Very very hard to project DT I just want us to get high motor guys in the 275+ range.. That's all I ask. Kul can teach the rest!

That's why Ojomo is intriguing to me. He plays 1-technique in HS and in doing so, uses his hands and leverage well....plus, he looks quick on film. Kool can work with that.

Add to it that he's only 16, he can easily add 20-25 healthy pounds rather quickly to be at 280-285 by the time he's 18.

He might be good but desperation has set in

This. And its a shame. This program is not UCF.

Lmao. You were probably the dummy who bytched and cried when we recruited the 700th player in the country and got him to commit. Yeah I'm talking about rj mcintosh, clown.

This is gonna be the new go to phrase for all canes fans. It used to be "ed reed was a 2 star! low rated recruits are just as good !"

Now were gonna defer to RJ McIntosh every time we extend an offer to a 3 star player. Because every single 3 star out there will pan out like RJ.

Amirite guysm?

Seeing as how our two best cbs, best lb, and two best DTs were 3 stars that star whores would have bytched about, I see nothing wrong with giving 3 stars the benefit of the doubt.

Not to mention kul has PROVEN his ability to turn chicken shi$$ into chicken soup as has Rumph.

Yet we still have star whores acting like true cucks on here. Dumbest fanbase in America.

Jobe is senior citizen. The Bama bag was a nest egg intended to supplement his imminent social security.

The fvck does this even mean?

Texas, A&M, Oregon, and some other big schools want him bad. He'd be a great get, and that's all that matters

By your ******-level definition every school looking to fill needs after the early signing day, which is about every school, is deperate

That Young Man Ojomo is going to be a beast. His awareness is outstanding, he seems to have been well coached and shows skills and discipline by using his hands for leverage& separation, reads the play and reacts to the ball. Some of it was not against top level O-Linemen from the looks of it but still impressed/intrigued. He’s being recruited by many for a reason though he’s very young.

There isn't a high school in the country who teaches line play as well as Katy High School. They dominate year in and year out without huge D1 guys. Ojomo is one of the best talents they've had on the DL.

Gotta go after him out of need, but I think we're gonna be hard pressed to pull him, and Coburn, out of Texas. That's not a battle we normally win.
