Just feels like they'll find a way to keep it from Cam to try to stop our momentum.
That was 1 game. Yes the kid has talent, but he's no Barry Sanders. I saw Barry in person when he was at Oklahoma State. He put up 192 and 3 on 25 carries vs Oregon, what are we even talking about here?
Quesion isn't whether he's as talented, question is whether he puts up the numbers. And he does so far. That was 1 game. Yes the kid has talent, but he's no Barry Sanders. I saw Barry in person when he was at Oklahoma State.
Jeanty has gotten a lot of recognition. Meanwhile, Dylan Sampson at Tennessee gets nothing. Sampson doesn’t have the yards as Jeanty does, but has the same number of TDs (17) prior to the Boise vs UNLV game.
In my opinion, if Jeanty played in the P4, he'd be just another good RB. I was watching Rutgers vs USC at the same time as Boise State vs UNLV. Jeanty is similar to Rutgers RB Kyle Monanga. Both are really good and can play in the NFL, but not generational talent.
What are you rambling about? He’s not even had 35 carries in a single game.People aren’t talking about this enough imo. You can’t deny his talent he’s a beast but also averaging 35 carries a game wouldn’t hold up against p4 Boise is straight abusing him.
Ward with the odds
Hyperbole guy. You got me averages 27 a game. Still not conducive to a healthy nfl career. Replying to another person who pointed out his quality of competition, his numbers are cut in half in sec play. Hope that clarifies. What are you rambling about? He’s not even had 35 carries in a single game.

It's not just about the numbers. Just look out how many air raid QBs put up numbers and never won a Hesiman. Many not even invited.Quesion isn't whether he's as talented, question is whether he puts up the numbers. And he does so far.
When was the last time someone put up Jeantys numbers at the level that he is currently playing at?It's not just about the numbers. Just look out how many air raid QBs put up numbers and never won a Hesiman. Many not even invited.
Are you dominating the competition? Do you stand out doing it?
I'm sure the Hesiman voters will take the competition level into consideration.
When was the last time a non P4/P5 player won the Heisman.?When was the last time someone put up Jeantys numbers at the level that he is currently playing at?
Would Boise State be where they are right now if Jeanty would be replaced? No.
The notion that Jeanty could absolutely never win the Heisman is ridiculous and needs to stop immediately. You even compared him to a RB that averages two yards less PER CARRY. Ridiculous.
And Jeanty had an elite performance vs Oregon on a vastly inferior team. So this Mountain West thing is no argument in the first place. When was the last time a non P4/P5 player won the Heisman.?
Imagine what Cam Ward would do in the Mountain Wsst. I rest my case.
He's maybe the best RB in the country, but he is nowhere near Barry Sanders. Sure, he can be a Heisman candidate, but people need to back off the Sanders comparisons. It's not even a comparison. That was 1 game. Yes the kid has talent, but he's no Barry Sanders. I saw Barry in person when he was at Oklahoma State.

Jeanty is an absolute stud no matter the conference and his draft position will show it. He has zero weakness to his game. Very few guys come around with his skill set at any level. But like all these debates time will tell. That was 1 game. Yes the kid has talent, but he's no Barry Sanders. I saw Barry in person when he was at Oklahoma State.

That’s like saying a college basketball player is good but he’s no Michael Jordan. Barry was generational . With all that said if we’re playing the normal political bs with this bogus trophy Ward is the runaway. He checks all the boxes. He's maybe the best RB in the country, but he is nowhere near Barry Sanders. Sure, he can be a Heisman candidate, but people need to back off the Sanders comparisons. The bottom line is the competition level hurts. Heisman tbd....Jeanty is an absolute stud no matter the conference and his draft position will show it. He has zero weakness to his game. Very few guys come around with his skill set at any level. But like all these debates time will tell.
Yeah, and that's why I am sick of the comparisons to Sanders. Barry was the best I ever saw, at any level, ever. Ward should win it. ****, even with his "poor" performance last night, we scored on 7 of 8 drives. Think about that. How many teams in the country would like to have their star QB shut down, and still score on 7 of 8 drives? Crazy stuff. That’s like saying a college basketball player is good but he’s no Michael Jordan. Barry was generational . Best player on a top 5-10 team
Insane stats that is better than the last Heisman qb’s
He’s a qb
He has multiple Heisman moments with the game on the line
