Except with a shoulder injury he will be limited in his ability to lift strenuously and his biggest drawback is strength. He's a smart player but better suited for center. Not being able to lift from now until just before the opener against Alabama's "grown **** men" defensive line is no bueno.
Agree Seymore is a legit talent but I'd rather not rely on a true freshman and allow him to get action in 4 games and redshirt.
IMO, If you're good enough, you play. If he isn't better than the upperclassmen, then he'll redshirt.

And I agree but would like to give the kid a chance a grow and mature in S&C program for a season.
Not saying he's gonna start but I wouldn't be surprised if he did start. Idc about the sloppy weight with a kid getting here early summer. Feeley will get a hold of him and he'll be ready by Fall camp.
Unless it Donaldson,Clark or Rivers then this doesn't make any sense. Regardless their were much better options.Maybe someone is.... Entering the portal

Eh I don't mind that. He didn't have a big recruitment coming out of high school and probably wanted that commitment memory.
We need the help and Manny needs to win to get more help. So I guess we will see on how he plays
