UNC Vs Miami Game Thread 61-87 Final

I saw that FGCU team play. Those guys are very athletic and would beat a lot of good schools. If we played them today we'd win by 30 though.

I wouldn't even worry about that, because this is not a team to be shaken by a hostile road environment. We punked UNC at their place and came back from down 10 against NCSU. There will be nothing in the NCAAs, short of the Final Four, that will intimidate this team.


Also, everybody roots for the #15/#16 to keep it close. It's universal, because the games are usually over by halftime.

I was very surprised to see unc not try to play zone really the rest of the game when it seemed to be somewhat effective against us in the 1st half. They could not guard us at all man-to-man, not many teams in the whole country can do that right now actually.

The X-Factor for this team continues to be the play of our SF, we get any type of contribution from Brown or TMJ and this team is scary good. The play of our guards has been consistently impressive, and we know what to expect from our BIGS.

Our fans just are depressed. After a 20+ point win against UNC, some are upset.

For those *****ing about that dunk, Get over it. We rarely get fans to show up to games. We are a top team now and these kids are giving them something to look forward to each game.

I want to see floor slaps, backboard alley-oops, shooting 3's when we are up by 25, and disgusting, nasty *** defense until the buzzer sounds. Give me all of it. This team backs up everything they do. Let them have their fun.

I didn't read the whole thread, but are there really people crying about the dunk? Roy Williams is known for running up the score and keeping his starters in up 20+ late in games. Today, UNC tried alley-oops, not our fault they couldn't finish them.

We shot them out of the zone. You don't play a 2-3 zone against a team that can't miss from downtown... that's just asking to get throttled.
