UNC players talking trash...

Wait till he gets matched up against Coley and a true freshman steals his lunch money. We will see how good the talent at Miami is then, or when duke breaks his ankles in open space with a side step.

I remember when Gerald sensabaugh talked trash and said the same thing and said we were predictable on offense and we fell to them under clappy. I hope Thursday is a different outcome. Different coach. Different team.

I cant call it talking trash if its true. Shouldn't need some random quote from a 1- 4 team to motivate us to take care of our business.

Re-examining the quote....what did he say that was untrue?

Since when is whether or not a comment was true indicative of what will motivate a team to kick the other teams teeth in? The guy is voicing skepticism regarding how great this team is, which is exactly what can turn a potential trap game into a 40 point beat down--especially for a team that has not played a complete, great game this year.

We all know the potential of this team, and have seen periods and glimpses of greatness from it. It's time it all comes together and we let slip the dogs of war.

Oh you're gonna be "that guy" huh?

But he's right, when was the last time we've been a great team?

When the last time was is irrelevant. You don't need to be a great team to beat the ever-loving **** out of UNC, anyway.

As ECU proved.

Like I've been saying, if we truly back then we have to show consistency. Gotta be able to take on the UNC's & UVA's of the world on the road and come away with wins.

“Growing up, the U had greats like Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Andre Johnson, Frank Gore and a lot of other guys that you looked up to,” said Price, a 6-foot, 200-pound senior cornerback. “But they’re not that now. It is what it is … but I can’t remember the last time they were a great team like they used to be.”

Jeez, that barely qualifies as trash, maybe they can play better than talk trash?

The price kid drop this jewel too

“Miami jumping on the bandwagon late didn’t help their cause,” Price said. “This is my last year, so I want to make them pay for missing out on me and not doing their job.”

That was the beginning of the end. We were 6-0 heading into Chapel Hill and they ruined our season. Very similar circumstances.
