UNC 17 @ VT 27 FINAL

UNC will be tough, but we should be able to stay with them, both teams have off next week in prep. So for all the new stuff they throw at us, we will have something for them as well. We are the better team and Al will have the boys focused. No not being prepared here....process continues.

I hope we can do more than "stay with them." They're 1-4, we're 5-0. It will be tough, but we should beat them.
 
I was much more concerned going into today than I will be going into the UNC game. If we can avoid the mistakes that we made today, we should beat them by 30+.
 
We won't beat them by 30. I don't think we're good enough to beat them by 30 on the road. I wouldn't be surprised with a 2 TD win.

thread title was misleading until i realized VT had a pat blocked and UNC ended up with 17

If UNC could ever be considered 'down,' it's right now. Golden, during his first year and with a lesser squad, jumped out to a 17-0 lead against a better UNC team for his first trip up the Chapel Hill. It did end up close on the scoreboard, but never should have got to that point. If we can get our heads right and minimize the turnovers, play solid, get SteMo healthy, there is no reason why we shouldn't run away with it. And believe me, I am the last person who ever thinks we will run away w/ a game. Still shaking off the Randy&Larry Bug.

I know, I was at that game, and we barely won even though we were up 27-3. UNC is down, but I still would be shocked if we win by 30.
