this team is frustrating as ****. we love the HR, but sometimes to win you have to play small ball with the short stuff. Something Stephen struggles with...

I honestly just feel like Morris does not click with Coley's playcalling. I'm not saying either one is bad, but when running Fisch's offense last season, Morris had it down. He made intermediate throws, he made the deep passes and the screens. This year, he seems to be avoiding the middle of the field (again, player vs playcall?), is having lots of trouble on throws less than 10 yards, but at least he can still drop the bomb.

What the frick games were you watching, he was erratic on intermediate, horrible on the short stuff, he completed less than 60% of his passes. Look the kid has all the measurables, but he has yet to show the QUARTERBACKING skills that I was hoping to see develop his senior year. Completing less than 60% of your passes in college football is mediocre even with all the drops. Very good percentage in college football is over 65%.

I wasn't saying his % was great, but he looked comfortable, and he made plays when we needed them. He also played much smarter. There's a reason he only threw 1 int in the 2nd half of the season and that includes games against VT and FSU. I'm sure his injury this year has a lot to do with his performance, but he has not looked comfortable all season.
