This. Just enjoy the ride guys, we are the youngest ****** team in the country and are only down by 3 at the half vs FSU, to me that is great news. If you thought we'd beat them by 40 this year you're simply stupid.

Please, it was a good timeout. 3rd and 15, FSU looks to be running out the clock deep in their zone with about a minute left. If you can stop them you give your team a shot to score before half. All coaches would do the same. If we stopped them you'd be praising it. We NEED to stop them on 3rd and 15.....we just didn't. Just like these kids can't play scared (Morris), our coaches can't coach scared.

My error here is the rule:

2. Fouling team has time-outs remaining and it is obvious the opponent would want the 10-second subtraction:
Ask the head coach of the fouling team if he would like to use a time-out to avoid the 10-second run-off.
A. IF NO, proceed as in 1.
B. IF YES, announce that decision and the game clock will start on the snap following the time-out.
Announcement:
"False start, offense #72. Five yard penalty.
The offense has chosen to use their 3rd and final timeout to avoid the 10-second run- off."

Nope.Your logic is flawed. If Jimbo was indeed running the clock off, he calls dive on 3rd and 15, we get the ball back with 1 min + before the half and the ball probably around the 50. If that was the dumbest timeout ever, there has never been a timeout called before in the history of the universe.

Morris has yet to try a real throw. All short swing stuff and check-downs. Not going to beat a ranked team without a competent passing game. Cant play scared; have to go for it even when guys are struggling (17).

Sorry but you can only get kicked in the nuts so many times before you can pretend it doesn't hurt. Our defense is flat out brutal. I basically expect them to fail at this point (because that is what they have done all year) and if I'm wrong it's a bonus.

There was 1.05 on the clock when he called the timeout, to expect the defense which hangs by a thread on every play to make a stop makes no sense.

Seems like it literally hurts Jedd to call a run play. And as soon as he does, he jumps into 5 wide ASAP to make the pain go away.

I swear if we'd commit to the run (not just east-west sweeps either) we'd be a more assertive offense. We would control the game better.

Not to mention Morris looks like crap...

I think if we try to run more we're going to find ourselves in a lot of 3rd and long situations. Morris just has to do a better job of completing his passes.
