Man yall need to chil, Miami cant win the national championship every year. Every program has their ups and downs. Thing about Miami is when it's going bad i'ts terrible but when it's going good it's great.
 
I love how the same ol bashers come running to sling ****. I'd think at this point NVA, Archer and the like could let one thread go without beating the horse.

I'd like a thread that deals with reality.

That's not slinging anything.

This isn't a 4-H motivational conference where everyone talks about how great everyone else is. "You too, can reach the highest pinnacle of success, if you just believe!"

Dunno if it's time to be positive, but most of us will be there supporting either way. Just want to win meaningful games.

I am positively optimistic

But like duke said if you a cane your a cane that being said I will always be all in no matter what
 
I'm positive. That a good defensive coach who sees the defensive roster and shapes a scheme they can really flourish in, who adjusts to game situations like right now, is not on our campus yet. I'm hoping one shows up soon. When he does, I'll be enjoying the **** of of how our D attacks teams and chokes off any opposing momentum whatsoever to the point where teams seem to just give up from the futility of trying anything one more time, where Miami players are so stoked to be in the system they play all out every play, every series on a D that gets off the field so quick & our O can't wait to score again with a quarterback who sees the field and gets better every game, every year mentally sound because the O line is like a great wall. So much so in fact that recruits are once again are butting in line to play at the U and we're the ones saying sorry, no room bro, you hesitated so go to turdville, you won't play until your junior year if you can handle the comp. Yeah, I am positive.

For Golden and D'Onofrio, I don't care. They do the same stupid siht, they're gone. They alter **** near everything they have been doing and we start winning - then I'm fine.

Either way, in a couple years, we're going to start winning. With or without them.
 
I am positively depressed. Is that good enough? I can go this far, this year is the make of break year. Talent in much better than is has been. If we win 10 and DO NOT get our rears handed to us when we do lose, then I can smile. If anyone makes us look like fools again, then stick a fork in me.

I do not bet all the time, but I have bet on many Cane football games and never lost a dime on them. In fact, I have made a large amount of money on my Canes. Even in the glory days, I have a good sense about which games they might not be themselves for. I made money off every gator I know last year, even family. I didn't bet the FSU game, but tried too lay some during halftime with Noles in the casino I was at--thank God they remembered all those wide right games and were spooked by the TD just before halftime. It would have ruined my perfect money line with the Canes. This year I look at the schedule and there is only one game I would lay even money on and one I am sure we win but not sure we cover. That is what the season after halftime in Tally has done to me. No bets this year. I will watch for the Nole game's line, but the play on the field will have to be completely different than we have been seeing. Actually, I have the Cincy game circled for Mark's last game or Mark and Al's last game, and am thinking about laying some money on that. I pray to The Lord I am completely wrong.
