These recruiting threads are like Groundhog Day, with the only change being the name of the player.
Or they’re going transfer being the we’re gonna have 6 DTs next year and only 2 have seen the field as of yet. How about using some common sense?
Elijah isn’t an asterisk. He’s not moving.Lol, ok
We are about to lose Nesta, Ford, and Miller and just lost one to transfer and return a grand total of
JHH
Taylor
Haye
Q. Williams
Elijah*
next year, but we aren’t going to take any DT’s? What FBS program goes into a season with 5 DTs? Come on man, stop lol. We need to take 3, minimum. This was a local guy who had camped, been on campus several times and even privately. We want him, we failed. Aint the first time, wont be the last.

Durant was a loss pure and simple.. Lyons and Anderson have been reported Package deals. However, if FSU takes Lyons with out Anderson that’s a Big (pun intended) loss. If they take both it’s a small loss, but loss nevertheless because it’s a loss at a position of need DT to our rival no less. It’s difficult to know if we’re now after Plan B’s without knowing who the Plan A’s are and what the DT board even looks like. And if I’m honest I’m not sure just how hard Lyons was targeted by the staff. I know it was more than Anderson, but not sure how much more. But it’s a loss if true. Looks like our DT board is a TBD and work in progress.Lol
who are we saving these ultra premium DT spots for? Maybe we never heard much buzz cause we have been 2nd place for months.
Ya’ll said Durant wasnt a take after he went elsewhere, now doing the same with this kid...so again, I ask, who is?
We just got beat, it happens. No need to make excuses for this staff.
Durant wasn’t a loss. He basically admitted we didn’t let him commit.Durant was a loss pure and simple.. Lyons and Anderson have been reported Package deals. Only guys on the board that either play DT or have the frame to become a DT
1) Bear (nope)
2) Lucas
3) Hastings (just offered)
4) Jamari Lyons (never recruited)
5) Daniel Lyons
6) Tarber (motor/weight issues)
It’s ok. I’ll just wait to be right again while you all get embarrassed again.
I don’t have a plan c. This interior line class sucks if you’re not getting a premier guy and Lyons isn’t one of them. They’re probably betting on one of the DTs of Miller, Ford, or Nesta coming back(probably Jordan) and grabbing a transfer. If somebody pops up that they like in between then they’ll probably take a look.Looks like a bunch of whiffs and will end with a plan C you’ll pump up so you look right.
Similar to the 2-0-9 we ran vs UNC last yr...Naw bruh didn't you hear? T-Rob convinced Manny to run a 1-1-9 defense
....But recruiting smhSounds like a Cane to me..... But recruiting.

In what ******* book is an undersized DT and a DT who’s own DC said had weight and motor issues an A+ haul?Everyone was talking about Lyons and Tarber as an A+ haul and now the apologists are out in force saying neither is even a take and their offers weren’t committable. This is insane spin.
Either we f-ed up the evaluations to begin with or we f-ed up the recruitment. I’m a huge Simpson fan but this is not a good look.. Also, I saw their HUDL highlights and they are Miami kids.
We cannot take zero DTs and a rent-a-DT portal kid is a fail because you’re hoping the right talent comes available without having any control.

I agree Simpson has proven himself on the field but he still has a long way to go in recruiting.Imo this is just a weird year where alot just seems quiet everywhere tbh for uncommitted kids and especially here outside of the CBs because they committed early. I trust Simpson no doubt he's proven himself but I couldn't say what I think will happen when this year more then any I don't have a vibe of any positions
