UM Preliminary Plan for ReOpening Campus in August

Whats the plan for away games. Flying? How about packing into busses on the ride to the stadium? Or staying in hotels?

They dont have a plan. If the cfb season starts it will be over quickly with a mass of of players testing positive, some will die and some will have permanent injury. Face the facts and stop drinking hope flavored kool aid.

My guess is they will delay the season until they can have fans in the stands. Too much money at issue. Hopefully, the NFL moves back the draft so there are no conflicts there.

Maybe the season runs January through April, draft in June. Push NSD to May for non-early enrollees.
Lots of road games in cold temps. That's not promising based off our history of playing in cold weather.

Wasnt there an article of players needing 6-8 weeks lead time to get prepare before they hit the field, this timeline mentioned by UM doesnt seem to include that..

Which brings us back to the fact that nothing will have changed between September and January to move forward with fans. I don't even see how basketball season is feasible let alone football.

When you hear "maybe we'll play with no fans" it translates to "not playing." Playing without fans means (to the chicken little lunatics that are still dominating public discourse) that the lives of players/coaches/refs are being valued less than the fans. It doesn't work. Optics optics optics.

Things change fast. Two months ago I was planning a Wrestlemania trip with my son.

The best hope is improved therapeutics. Even Newsom said that would influence his decision to allow sports with fans.

Or they sell certain seats. They could sell seats that’s are 6 ft apart from each other in the stadiums. Half filled stadium is better than nothing.
They're a plethora of ways to figure it out. It just takes a little thinking. Some humans just want to run and hide under the pretense of reaching a socialist utopia...

I love people who continue to make this comment.

There were 34k Flu deaths in the 2018 to 2019 fly season without a national lock down

We're currently sitting at 70kish with a national lock down.

The logic at face value is truly breathtaking to behold.

Logic, says the sheep.

You go ahead an believe CNN homie! According to Joe Biden, we're at 600,000 deaths!

Your count is off by a verified 30,000. ish. You're literally off by almost half. You suck lol

The goal posts have shifted from not overwhelming hospitals to not letting anyone get sick from Covid. This standard has made it impossible to have large events for the foreseeable future.

These are the MAGA-loid Lysol IV drip crew. They're happy that their Supreme Leader is currently in a twitter feud with Jimmy Kimmel, a TV host.

They're entirely too dim to comprehend that we've had 70K people die in two months even with an unprecedented lockdown while half that amount dies from the flu with NO LOCKDOWN. The original projections on this virus, often quoted by their Supreme Leader, was that over 1M US citizens would have died but for the lockdown. Just like the flu though bro!!!
Got it... orange man bad.
