UM needs to change their recruiting philosophy

No more taking early commitments and pull the offer from guys that decomict. Stop taking commitments from guys years away. You need to be at least in your junior year to be able to commit to us. Also if you decomict your out. This kids are using the UM offer to get recognition and popularity and then decomict at the first chance. They know there is not repercussions cause they can do what ever and we will take them back. The UM offer a commitment needs to be taken seriously if not prepare to be the joke of the recruiting world for years to come.

I have an idea....Win

Jobe, how's life for the ****** in Alabaga?!? Dude is 32 years old and fourth string...

4dbs decommit from the school in 1 day who just had the #1 pass defense in the country and were top 15 or so in ints. Fvck these kids man smh...

The DC of that defense just quit on us one week before signing day!!

Or they should make that once you commit you are signed/part of the class

Ummm.......not possible to do. If a kid commits, you have no way to tie him to a binding agreement. If he decides to go against that, he'll just decommit.

Having said that, another part of the recruiting philosophy would be to develop players, win and not do basically what Richt did this past season.

As much as I hate to say it. These sec programs are ALL in on football. The town, the state, the school all in. Alabama student enrollment has almost doubled since saban is there. They build or Reno a building every 60 days. Every sec school is trying to catch them.
It seems like we are just chillin.

Totally agree with 2nd part of statement. It is & will always be about winning. A teams name/brand has some meaning, but if you arent producing it diminishes over time.

**** yeah, let's put all the blame onto the shoulders of the kids. None of it goes to the fact that the HC is a sht show.

These kids want to compete for and win championships. Winning the awful Coastal does not count.

I understand telling kids to hold-off until they're sure but at the end of the day we are dealing with teenagers that are getting smoke blown up their asses by everyone.

IMO you take commits when you can and you keep recruiting the **** out of them.

Tbh he did us all a favor by leaving at this time. Gives u time to search and either get a legit new DC and establish the relationships with the current guys who were under Diaz still on the roster

winning cures this to a point but I think the kids in the area are just a different breed. There is no loyalty like in Ohio or Pennsylvania and Texas to a degree. Those kids are raised to support the state school from day one.

**** the ring...who gives a ****. Dude ain't sniffing the field, which means no real money in the future...you can't live off the value of a ring for the rest of your life
We are talking about freshman Josh Jobe right?

Cane crooting curse. It like every prospect who plays that trolling game with us turns out be hot crap. That OL Lucas kid is probably going to be the next one on the list.

Anyone know what happen to that Williams kid who dragged Jobe to Alabama? All of Alabama's starting WRs are freshman or sophomore.. Dude probably won't see the field.
