No more taking early commitments and pull the offer from guys that decomict. Stop taking commitments from guys years away. You need to be at least in your junior year to be able to commit to us. Also if you decomict your out. This kids are using the UM offer to get recognition and popularity and then decomict at the first chance. They know there is not repercussions cause they can do what ever and we will take them back. The UM offer a commitment needs to be taken seriously if not prepare to be the joke of the recruiting world for years to come.

Been saying since before AG. Our recruiting strategy is garbage. The entire thing needs to be blown up and started over.

You can offer kids but have it not be committable till a certain date.

We are decommit U

2020 commits would be juniors. I agree with this though, we offer way early. Problem is we wait and see or even have a doubt then they go somewhere else and people scream we have to offer early blah blah. Double edge sword.

Offer early and continue to cultivate the relationship but don’t accept commits until after their junior year of highschool. Got to do something else because this sh*t clearly isn’t working and is a bad look for Miami’s image. Richt got us out here looking weak as **** right about now...

Or they should make that once you commit you are signed/part of the class

I’m too old to be this vindictive to a bunch of kids, but I would to see these guys come waltzing back up trying to commit again and for us to be in a position to tell them to pound sand and by the way respect our decision

And the worst part is that Mark Rich won't make any of those changes, with luck he may hire an offensive coordinator. He is stuck on his ways and I will be very much surprised if he ever does anything different.

Can't do that in South Florida...we're at the mercy of these kids, mentors, coaches, janitors, lunch ladies, etc...

Agreed. I've been saying that for a while. Unless someone above Blake James makes him make changes, nothing is going to change.

You know, if the Canes were better than 7-5/8-4, they wouldn't have to deal with this drama.

It also stops "we got these kids" next class thinking.....its about the current class...

There are only 4 schools on the college play off. And out of all other universities we are decomict U.

Winning is the cure. Get a winning coach who hires winning staff members, go out and kick the sh&t out of the college football world and a majority of the kids will stick. Go 7-5 while scoring 12 points in a loss to Duke at home and have made no changes or even intimated that you're going to make changes on offense and kids jump ship. Pretty much that simple. Where we have question marks, the kids go with the programs that don't have those same question marks. Kudos to those who stick through the tough times. But nothing will change until either Richt changes or the institution changes our HC.

I see people say that but the kids that have those people usually don’t sign with us anyway.

Is it better to get played and have a Jobe type commitment or just never play games with those guys and take the lower rated commit who really wants to be there?
