I ended up with 4 tickets also payed about $10 more per ticket because it took until 6 am Tuesday morning for my buddy to get back to me.Same here except I waited on friends to see if anyone else wanted to go.yeap, knew where I was sitting and had the ticket less than an hour after they announced.
I got screwed for another 25 because after I bought my 2, my buddy and his wife said they wanted to sit next to us, so another transaction fee and such. We have 4 in 209 JJ (chose that row because no one behind us, that stadium sucks for leg room, so no knees in the back).
by the 25th...there will be $9 tickets
On the UL board they think they'll outnumber us. One dip**** thinks we'll have less than 5,000 fans.
Jennifer Heisey of the UofL Alumni Association just said on local radio that Louisville has sold over 8,000 tickets of its 12,000 allotment. She seemed confident that UofL would sell out its first allotment and ask for more.
Said there would be a impressive contingent of Louisville fans in Orlando. Also said that the RAB was doing some nice things to help Louisville fans watch a basketball game the same afternoon.
A UL insider just posted this Friday morning on another board...

anybody know how the $82 tickets being sold through UM works? are they general admission or specific rows/seats and you will know what your row/seat numbers are when you get them?
I can't go so I bought two tickets and asked Chris Freet to donate them to some students who needed tickets. He set up a drawing and a bunch of students signed up for the drawing. Kinda cool. Did my part, supported the team and two students get to go to the game so it's good. Sure wish I could go though. Someday...
I talked to the UM ticket office yesterday and the person on the phone said that the price of the ticket is $77 through UM and if you went through the actual Russell Athletic Bowl site they were $45 and you got to pick your own seats.....
TIFWIW......
TOTAL BULL****
