UM allotment is the ACC side, but the Prime seats aren't necessarily given in the allotment. So the 25yd to the 25 yd aren't necessarily there. When you order from them, you commit the money and do not know what seat you are getting.

***** that. Stubhub, got 50 yard line in 209

yeap, knew where I was sitting and had the ticket less than an hour after they announced.

Just be prepared for the articles mocking us when we return 5,000 tickets from our allotment even though we'll have 30,000 fans there

We can't "return" our tickets from my understanding. Freet was just tweeting last night about "being on the hook" for $77 per ticket if we don't buy through the school.

I talked to the UM ticket office yesterday and the person on the phone said that the price of the ticket is $77 through UM and if you went through the actual Russell Athletic Bowl site they were $45 and you got to pick your own seats.....

TIFWIW......

Same here except I waited on friends to see if anyone else wanted to go.

I got screwed for another 25 because after I bought my 2, my buddy and his wife said they wanted to sit next to us, so another transaction fee and such. We have 4 in 209 JJ (chose that row because no one behind us, that stadium sucks for leg room, so no knees in the back).

threw UM, there are 2 price points, 77 and 82. They don't tell you the seats you are getting.

Yep, yep..... I understand that the UM side..... She was saying if you bought through the Russell Athletic Bowl site you could pick your own seats......

you know, that has always been my problem trying to buy away tickets from the U. I have always wanted to support them, and do with season tickets; but I have always gotten screwed in buying through them.
You would think in today's time and the advantage they get in buying through them, they would make it much easier in getting the tickets from them in their allotment (more stub hub type of structure in buying from them). If they don't evolve with the times, they will get stuck in future bowls when they have to buy (guarantee) a certain number of tickets, and in some past events, we have lost much money in no one buying those tickets.

Agreed....

My problem with UM ticket office is that for years I would just call 1-800-Go-Canes and purchase tickets through the University which I didn't mind paying more because they were getting all the money. Now-a-days the UM ticket office directs you to their online site which is hosted by Ticket Master and I can't stand giving $$$ to those Focks...... TMs absorbent surcharges are ridiculous........

Fine, not "return" but when we don't "sell" our allotment. Remember what the Herald reported this year after FSU said we returned 3,500 tickets to them? We had way more than the 10,000 allotted tickets/fans in Tallahassee, but our fans didn't buy them all through the school and so we had these embarrassing articles that further our image of having pathetic fans. If we don't sell our entire allotment this year it'll be the same garbage.

I don't care what people do. You can get your tickets wherever and however you want. I'm just saying, you know it's coming.

I tweeted Freet and he told me that they are letting those that ordered thru UM choose their seats this week. He also said that bowl game seating and away game seating is different because away teams always give ****** seats to the AD to sell. You can look in my mentions for his response KingLew_88

I love how FSU says how "great" their fans are even though they've only had 1 home sellout All Year, against who?? The U. Lazy fans can't even show up to watch a Heisman QB, they only show up when UM, UF, or Clemson come to town

Agreed. FSU has 40,000 students, and they only sellout for Miami, UF or Clemson, and that's because Miami, UF and Clemson bring 10,000+ fans, but they talk like they're Michigan or Nebraska and have had sellouts since the 50s.

The Rus Ath site goes through Ticketmaster. All tickets are over $80 except for a small # in the corners of the upper endzones.
