UGA Recruiting Rankings

I just spent the weekend in Athens with close friends. Let me tell you! They all believe they will beat baga and win the NC. Believe Richt was too nice and really phucked up by not recruiting a few black QB's, in particular Cam Newton (TE) and DeShawn Watson, that his practices were too soft. Say Kirby recruiting best in nation and having physical practices. FYI, you don't go their for social and entertainment aspects, but Atlanta only an hour away.

Richt and (bobo) did take the wrong QB when
DeShaun was a senior in HS, but no way in hades would he take Scam after he got kicked out of Ufag for stealing computer and a couple other incidents. Do have to disagree on your assessments of social and entertainment as I was there back in fall and Feb and downtown while not that large has more bars in about a 6 block area than Buckhead/Atlanta. The place was rocking when I was there. Think school probably out this last week end so the place was probably dead when you were there.

Lol the admin/boosters at uga didnt want any black qbs until they saw that Watson could actually win a ship...

Kirby has opened up the booster network and learned how to cheat from Saban. If he can keep getting away with it, UGA will have great teams. On the other hand, if he screws up like Ole Miss it will come crashing down.

The black QBs thing is incredibly dumb. Kirby has taken 1 in 3 years. And Richt recruited Shockley and LeMay, not too mention the QBs when he was at FSU. To bring race into it is dumb, especially when Kirby is a racist as **** prick. (Ask your UGA friends the story from when Kirby found out one of his black teammates knocked up his sister).

Richt was never comfortable with the bag game, so Miami is a better fit for him and Kirby is a better fit for UGA. It's been a win for both

If u aint in the top 5 at least for 3 years str8 u aint competing against the big boys.

You should go to 247 and see what Clemson has been ranked!!!

I’m sick of hearing stuff like this, we needed a guy that could recruit at and elite level and coach, AgAin Georgia was the last SEC school and one of the last schools I’m america to get an indoor facility. Also his staff was also one of the worst paid! This is public knowledge. He now has a school that is going to give him everything needs. Also Georgia kids are NOT even in the same zip code as FLORIDA savages. Go look at how our high school teams from south Florida go up there and beat the HOLY isht out of them.

You had me until this point. GA/FLA go back and forth against each other each year...

Forget the race thing. White or black Desean Watson I think affected Richt and made him a deciple of RPO. I personally think he has gone overboard. Maybe a year with Kaaya who is about as mobile as the Statue of Liberty had something to do with it. We now have a mobile qb who can't pass, next up is mobile QB who can pass but struggles above the shoulders. Williams and the Oregon kid fit the same mobility mode and hopefully one will be what CMR is looking for. Even Weldon fits that mode. Are we ever going to recruit a traditional Miami QB again? Don't tell me the games changing. Quarterbacks need to complete passes. That comes first. They only need mobility to extend plays in order to complete passes.

Are we all just going to pretend that Williams and Perry werent recruited by Richt? I mean why isn’t Cade starting over Rosier!!!

Exactly just like Jimbo learned how to cheat from Saban as well. You gotta be able to coach a little as well

Miami has never needed top classes to win and never will.

Never.

If we had a great QB and didn't have the killer injuries to our best players, we'd have won the title. No team in history has a mediocre QB and loses their best WR, RB, and TE and wins the title. Not Bama. Not UGA. Not Clemson. Walton, Richards, and Herndon are NFL players. If we had them against Clemson, we win that game. If we had a halfway decent QB, we blow out Bama and UGA.

Not another myUGA friend said post!! As if if we need them to tell us about Richt. I have a close friend and uga fan that loves richt. And, that recognizes those were Richts players last year and didn't have to go through bama to get to the nc game. And, why has the administration given Kirby everything they wouldn't give richt, more recruiting staff etc.

As far as soft practices, give me a break. How many times do you have to hear from players say how much harder practices have been under Richt.

While I somewhat agree with you, thinking we dont need a top class because we won without them in the past is such an archaic way of thinking. Unless you hit on an elite QB, a top class is needed to compete in today's climate. No if, ands, or buts. I think we would have scored more against Clemson but the result would have been the same. Clemson's DL dominated, isnt all about a QB, in the trenches and their coach schemed well against our secondary. Blow out UGA and Bama? Ok. I wish I had your enthusiasm.

Also, that scenario you mentioned is pointless considering that should be common sense. Take any team's best skill players away and of course they wouldn't be able to compete. What's the point of even mentioning that?
