Yes he was a Qb at Miami High and QB Coach under Coach Nigel Dunn.

Reason I said normally land is those Butch classes, even though guys were not rated as high I assume they wouldnt be hidden in todays landscape of recruiting. So when I say used to land I mean the Sean Taylors and those types of kids who would probably be elsewhere in todays age. So we are capable of landing high rated kids, the old method of us finding guys before anyone is over the internet has made it a small world so that advantage is gone. We should be landing home grown high rated beasts like teams in there state normally do. Is there cheating going on of course but we gotta do what we gotta do if we want to be dominant again hopefully with another good season this year they will be more than willing to not take the bag and play for the U.

No don’t believe he was good enough to play college ball. I know he got Semenhole/Kitty blood running through his veins, since he earned his bachelor's degree from Florida State in 1997 and his master's degree from LSU in 2004.

Theres certain coaches who are capable and theres very few each era that go all out on the trail......U saw it with Urban u saw it with Saban u even see it with Jimbo and we are seeing a new horse in Kirby. Its possible at the U to sweep recruiting and completely shut down sfla. It will happen one day UM can achieve this they just have to find the guy that will. MR is an amazing coach and we will have a good season and Im thankful hes the guy leading us.....and I hope he leads us to the top. Do I believe he will? hard to say sometimes I think no and sometimes I think yes. AT least we are respectable again but to become what most fans want we have to clean up in sfla its that simple and dont let people tell u its not possible because it is.

There are some UGa fans on this board that’s going to be a little hurt when they hear the news.
 
There was someone on their 247 board last night who kept saying he was told a bunch of the recruits were not happy that Fields isnt playing. Claimed there would be decommits. IDK if this has anything to do with that. But it is interesting timing. He was thought to be an LSU lean before he up and committed to UGA this summer

Looks like they are going to go harder after MAR, Kenny McIntosh, SAnders, Cain and NyQuan Wright, who already has an OV there.

Yea i heard that too decommits coming plus players who were leaning Georgia like Stevenson have cooled off and we capitalize
 
Why y'all think most Georgia people there's a slim to no chance hasselwood goes back there he met with Kirby and decomitted the next day or two that's very telling

That **** is crazy to me. So kids aren't gonna commit or stick to it because they want a certain qb to play and think they know better than the coaches? Man I Hate Georgia and the Sec. **** I hate everyone not Miami...but this is ridiculous. If I'm a Ugay fan I say good riddance if he decommits because of who he thinks should play qb.

One of the pretty regular posters insists that he was told by a very reliable source that "something happened" - it wasn't all Fields . But he won't say specifically. I think Haselwood said something to that effect in his interview two weeks ago with that Sentell guy from Dawgnation
