In fairness too Pete, there is alot of time he's makes comments and people assume WAY more than he said. here he said there is contact and everyone is acting like he is commited.
 
this is exactly why i wouldve kept it under wraps. Makes no sense to put this out there. But ......
 
Pete is a professional, not a guy who is trying to get paid site subscriptions by passing on rumors. I'm guessing he has a trusted source for this info, I'm also guessing Davis tweeted an immediate denial because he doesn't want to deal with A-Hole gator fans blowing up his twitter and Facebook.

I don't think Pete is lying at all do really think he just pulled this info out of his aśs. UF reporters are reporting this too. And if you go on Shawn Davis's twitter there is sht going down. He actually says he doesn't care about fans lmao.
 
The kid is clearly just trying to save face, especially after Pete doubled down on the report. That isn't to say he will be in this class, because I'm not confident, but any recruiting vet has seen this denial act a thousand times. Kid doesn't want UF people harassing him about it.

Pete told us what he was told. Why the fck would Pete make it up? There's no doubt in my mind that there's been conversations between David and UM.

Pete didn't lie about **** but let's be real 247 and Pete reported the same thing and I seriously doubt they're both in on a lie. Now is it serious inquiries? Idk but let's not act like its more likely that these are all lies rather then Davis not wanting to get harassed by UF coaches and fans
