UCF is an interesting opening. Danny White had them rolling and had made some good hires. Danny is all about exciting offenses. Scott Frost, Heupel, and then took Heupel to Tennessee. The new AD comes in and hired Malzahn which always seemed weird to me.

I’m sure there’s interest there. Wondering if they go with the washed SEC coach route or if they shoot for GJ Kinne, Eric Morris, etc and get back to exciting offense or try to go up and comer big name assistant

Thomas Castellanos would be a good fit in that offense, actually. If that’s their guy it makes even more sense than if he was just going to commit to Norvell.

But FSU just guaranteed their ceiling is probably 9-10 wins. Malzahn always has inexplicable games where the defense of a nobody team entirely has his number all day with no adjustment or answers. Probably because he runs only 6-7 different plays a game

Miami is likely in the same boat with Mario. But it is what it is.
