Perhaps they were looking to can him, but it doesn't seem to be a good narrative for UCF. It's like Chip Kelly leaving the head job at UCLA for the OC position at OSU. For the eternal little brother program looking to get its seat at the table, the head coach resigning and taking a lesser job at the bigger school all in the same day just looks bad IMO.

Malzahn BEEN cooked, even said so in his book he knew defenses would catch up.. His biggest gimmick in being able to draw checks while failing for yearsss already.. Truly impresive..

I welcome Malzahn to Tally and I hope all the fsu fans on here have fun with that offense, lmaooo

When did they announce they were going to fire him? Negotiating a deal to become OC on the same day as resignation? UCF is gonna spin it there way and FSU will spin it their way. I'm taking it as a bad look to UCF.
