Seriously how could you think Notre Lame is a lesser rival than VT? That might be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen posted on this board and that’s really saying something!

Because its 2017 and not 1989. We play one school every year, they are the best team we will play every year in our own division. They consider us their main rival and treat playing us every year as if its the biggest game on their schedule. They also own us since the late 90s. The other school we went almost 25 years without playing, and will play them at most 2-3 times every 10 years due to their ACC deal.

Again, hopefully our coaches and players don't think like you mouthbreathers on here. VT games should be treated the same way UF and GA treat each other.

Apparently, unlike some of the posters on here, VT fans can use critical thinking and realize they are now members of the ACC Coastal Division and their biggest competition EVERY SINGLE YEAR is UM.

They've beaten UVA 15 times in a row. They don't even think about them anymore. Their coaches treat the UM game as the biggest game of the year and have done it since we joined the Big East and started playing them every year. Fuente has continued it.

love your passion, but VT is our active rival and has been for the last several decades..... ND is a more historic rivalry as our games in the 80s always had national championship implications and were more heated. That being said. I HATE ND, VT i could give 2 ***** about

I just asked a VT superfan and he said Miami and WVU because UVA is never that good. UVA people would probably pick VT.

If it were up to me we would never play the team coming to Hard Rock on 11/11.

The only reason they’re relevant is the contract with NBC that has enriched them beyond their station.

The only reason they have the contract is because of the game they stole 30 years ago from Miami.

ACC was/is weak. B1G and SEC would NEVER allow part time members in their conference.

Your probably right but for me its vt.....im pretty sure u older wiser fans know best but to the new group its vt. Depends what era u grew up watching....i know alot of fans hate nd though but to me we dont see them enough

Yeah I’ve only watched 3 Notre Dame Games vs miami really(2010) at the bowl game, 2012 and the one last year. For me Virginia Tech is a much bigger rivalry in the modern era of canes football

VT is the bigger rival for me. I know they treat us as their super bowl every year. i focus on their recruits or what their doing waayyy more than ND.
