Tyson Campbell recruitment??

Why would Dean not stay? The guy hasn't even played a down of football and he's probably going to be a backup next year.

It's weird to me how posters assume everything Junior who isn't terrible might leave

Some people are morons. Dean going pro after 1 year lmao.

Kids make bad decisions all the time

Dean I doubt would do that after one season. All should learn from Yearby's mistake.

That's a bad example though, Yearby made the right decision. He had a kid and his stock couldn't possibly be any lower.

there. fixed it for you.

Did he even graduate? He had time to get more education. Perhaps an externship.

Miami has pretty good career services department.

Rick will help him with all of that if Yearby wants his help. Rick is huge on helping guys after football.

Know a guy who had kids that played at heritage under rumph And what you saying is bull****. Now you stfu.

Lol..therein lies the difference. I am a grown man...I would never ask a kid that.

I know this from other grown men on the staff and those that hold P5 asst job coaching positions.

Keep listening to children you ******.

Didnt no kids say that ****** and whoever told you that was a lie. Facts for your ***. Gibson the staff didnt want at qb. Mcfadden didnt have a offer. Brandon johnson didnt have a offer. Dowles didnt have a offer. Use common sense. So rumph told a bunch of guys with no offer not to go to miami?

And coley tried to make a run at gibson late to play qb and rumph tried to help coley get him but he had already fell for urban bull****.

Like i said you need to check your facts.

Don't try this Gibson late ****...we recruited him. We recruited Sony, we recruited McFaddenn...those 3 and the small kid that returned kicks and punts were the only kids that should have had offers from Miami. Only kid that was major that we did not recruit was Burns.

Mark Richt won't even let him be the main recruiter for the school he was a HC at bc he knows the same ****ing thing.

Close your mouth.

They didnt recruit gibson or mcfadden. **** out of here making up your bull**** and trying to pass it as real.

So which one is it? Did rumph tell dudes who miami wasnt even recruiting to not go to miami or what? Looks like you getting caught up your bull****.

We didn't recruit who? So we didn't recruit two 5 star rated players from our own back yard???

STFU you clueless little twerp.

Not like that tbh.
Naw we offered McFadden in the spring of his junior year and never pursued him after that. We were on Torrance Gibson heavily and then we cooled on him at qb at first. He then committed to Ohio state and during the last few weeks of the cycle coach coley tried to get him and Lamar Jackson to take a official visit to Miami

Absolutely .... and he should seek that help. Football may be over for him, but life is still waiting.

If something happens to Walton, he would've been the guy. He could've been a part of something special this season regardless. Instead, he's unlikely to make it past 1st cuts on one of the worst teams in the NFL this pre-season.

Wasnt even a real offer. Golden did that to try to keep the locals and the fan base off his back for not offering a local guy that all these big programs wanted.

Can y'all stop blaming Rumph under NCAA rule a new coach in college sports can't recruit at his formal school for 2 years.

Didn't he help recruit herbert?

Only applies to off the field recruiters like Baez, Cooney from south ridge(doesn't apply to him since he was hired before Jan 18,2017).

"Essentially, it means that anyone associated with a prospect cannot be hired as a non-field coach within two years of the prospect’s signing (read: high school coaches primarily). That is a very limiting rule since there are only nine on-field coaching positions. And if you do hire a high school coach, he can’t recruit a prospect from his former school for two years."

Don't know if he's been grandfathered in for that though

He's an onfield coach. The rule doesn't apply to him.

You can hire a guy as one of the 9 onfield coaches, and he can immediately begin recruiting his former HS players. This rule was put in place to stop programs from hiring HS coaches to lucrative support staff jobs simply to get one of his players.
