Who cares why he committed to Maryland. He's got offers from Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, LSU, etc.

No, I don't know that, and neither does anyone else on here.

People (on here) were saying the same thing about my boy Dowels when he had offers from TAMU, Oklahoma and Clemson but chose Syracuse. Those offers were 100% but he genuinely liked Cuse.

Not every kid chooses his "biggest" offers.

Clemson wasn't playing for National Titles at the time. I'm more confused as to why he didn't commit to Oklahoma on the spot and/or didn't even take a visit to TAMU.

Perhaps. Or maybe he wanted to play earlier. He's already their best CB as a Redshirt Freshman. Doubt that happens at Clemson, TAMU or Oklahoma.
