Actually they didn't offer him late. They also had been trying to get him to visit all month. We just didn't find out about it until yesterday because as you can tell the kid didn't want Alabama finding out and with good reason. The WRs they lack confidence in are the ones on the roster. We all feel the same way. If LSU can stack 4-5 big time DTs we should do the same at WR. Specifically if Richt wants to go uptempo and spread people out.

Him and Ahmmon Richards seem to have hit it off on the Alabama OV. Tyre Brady Transfered so an extra spot is open the WR core isn't impressive at all.

Maybe, maybe not. Only a person new to recruiting would assume we are getting everyone. I would bet with so few playmakers, and a more aggressive style of offense, we want to stack as much talent at the skill position as possible. The greatest advantage that we have is we can really overwhelm people with our talent at RB, and WR. It would be nice to use that advantage.

Every school has 12 or more. Miami is extremly thin at the position which is why richt is targeting 5-6. Remember coley is gone after this year, so is Lewis and berrios will have 1 more year. We absolutely should bring in 5-6

Exactly..with or without Simmons they are good at WR. **** they got the best WR in the country for the next two years and like 2-3 other WR commits.

Most of the guys we are still after aren't committed here. So it makes sense that we're still chasing guys and looking for dudes who might give a solid commitment.

It's tough to go into signing day with 3 or 4 open WR spots and all the guys you're chasing insisting on making their decision at the last minute. It becomes a numbers game.
