Having a Deep threat burner to take the top off of the Defense opens up the field for the rest of Offense, it clears lanes in the seams for the Slot & TE’s & forces Defenses to account for the Deep ball which disallows them from packing the box with 7/8-man fronts, which then takes pressure off the run game.

I remember last year during the offseason when people swore up & down that we didn’t need a Deep threat WR & then people saw with their own eyes why you HAVE to have one... In Dawson’s Offense having a burner like Ty Harrell changes the dynamic of the system altogether; this adds multiplicity in the passing attack & gives TVD an extra weapon to work with, especially when we go no huddle uptempo.

The best part about a Speed Demon like this is that they just don’t run 9 routes, they’re actually most dangerous running Bang 8’s, 5’s, 4’s & 6’s. Not to mention, the Bubble screen element now becomes a real danger with a guy like Harrell or even CJJr in the same capacity.

Just call Alex Rodriguez & LeBron’s biogenesis & get this kid some “treatment” for his foot & keep him encased in glass til September... But this is a big big pick up!

What people fail to talk about, but you realize, is that this makes it easier for the other receivers. This guy is a legit speed demon.

And if we still add Kirk, that would change the entire composition of the Offense even more so.

That would put us in position to have one of the best Offenses in the ACC, because the more weapons you have to attack through the Air the more difficult you are to stop.
