Michigan beer officially makes up for the arrogant UMich fans. I'm proud of my home state. As for me, my fridge is full of odds and ends right now, and it's official spring cleaning time.

I like it. I pick up a case of it every year (~$80). It varies year to year. Three years ago was the best so far, but this year's is better than last. Definitely very hoppy and boozy (10%). Drink 2 and it's good, go three and you got one **** of a buzz.

Midwest beer scene is fantastic, Michigan has a ton of good beer. But definitely one of the worst fan bases to deal with. They have not had a concensus Natty since before desegregation. Nebraska should have been consensus champs when they won in the 90s. They definitely have one of the most arrogant fan bases in America, I have to work with about 5-6 of them. The worst.

Amen brotha. I'm Michigan born and raised but the son of a Cuban immigrant and former Cane season ticket holder. It was not easy to grow up surrounded by Walmart Wolverines. It has given me an appreciation for MSU fans and their constant UMich trolling. Sadly, I now live in Toledo and will be moving to the heart of Buckeye land in September.

As far as Michigan beer goes though, you are correct. That state has a great booze culture. Ghettoblaster from Motor City Brewing Works and Giant Slayer from Tri City Brewing Company (shout out to my hometown) are my two favorites. But there are endless options.
