You only saying this because we are black and out here grinding in a space where most don't look like us.

College football is hanging itself. Call this for what it is: Professional Football. Separate the haves (professional teams mostly SEC and Big Ten Schools) and have nots (Mostly Big 12, ACC and PAC 12 with some of the other schools not in the power 5). The haves will get all the players that want/can get NIL money. The others play on teams that can’t afford to pay their players. It would make both leagues competitive amongst themselves.

I personally believe Miami is a tweener. Somewhere between big time and the rest. It sucks, but that is reality. Before NIL, it was all about the facilities, now that we have or will have the facilities it’s about the size of your collective. The goal posts keep on moving on us and I am afraid we cannot keep up regardless of the who is coach, AD or in charge of players evaluation/development.

If this was going on for months I expect Miami to be prepared for the eventuality of his departure. I still think time is not on our side.

I know some of you hate him but Ruiz is a much better NIL source than places like the Gator collective which have not followed thru on contractual commitments.
And I agree with Ruiz that the Nigel Pack deal was a great ROI considering the exposure. This is what NIL is supposed to be.

As for TVD, every smart athlete is trying to maximize their NIL before the transfer portal window closes. Frankly, I advised my nephew who plays basketball at Stetson as was all -conference last season, to do the exact same thing. I know it’s not good for team, or culture, or etc… but for many of these young people this may be the most money they make in one season-ever. Pro sports is not guaranteed and every athlete is 1 injury away from being retired.

if we want TVD we will match what he is being offered, simple as that. UM has the money. I think the bigger question is whether Mario believes TVD is worth the NIL investment that other schools believe he is. But that is precisely how the free market works.
As I mentioned in the Arch manning v Emory Williams thread, the issue will not be whether a player is worth the money.
What most on here might not be aware of us DUE TO TAMPERING kids come across ALOT of nil numbers that are nowhere near accurate. They run around and say I'm being offered this but they too slick for they own good. Not many ways to vett what you're being told up until you either go somewhere and simply don't get paid(which is what happens to most) or like with rashada you **** yourself with somewhere legit and they back out at last possible second. Gayturds collective atleast had the common sense to contractually back out with notice opposed to letting the kid sign beforehand and then defaulting on the payments.

Are incentive laden NIL deals allowed? If his agent feels he’s worth a ton, give him incentives to meet to reach it.

Someone needs to tell Tvd he was trash last season regardless of who the OC was
Missed wide open throws consistently. Dude looked like Zach Wilson at times.

1. I doubt Bama would take him, let alone pay him more money than us.
2. I know it’s his job, but his agent creating this drama now instead of after the season ended is a scummy approach to get your mediocre client a raise.

I personally am not setting the president that a player who regressed and complains can get more money. I’d call his bluff of having more money on the table. We will see what Mario does.

This doesnt help the rumors of his lack of leadership and not being a true team guy.

I mean he is basically like Sandy Lyle who still lives off Crocodile Tears fame.

That 6 game stretch is long gone my man.
The rumors are now verified. Posing for photos with those TD rings got to his head.
