Morris wasn’t respected? I don’t remember ever reading that. In fact, I read today players from that time were upset Golden made Morris play out a season with a ruptured Achilles. Negatively impacted Morris’ move to the NFL (such as it was).

For all the people who have decided they are done with Coach Richt, 5 games after you were undoubtedly on his jock when we killed ND. What would you like done? Him fired? And then what? Hire Butch away from setting college football on fire at FIU? Some other Coach you will want to fire after 2 seasons and 1 game?

I'm disgusted with tonight's performance but Coach Richt just won 10 games and the coastal in year 2 plus got the IPF done, he's going NOWHERE for years to come so may as well join OP from the Done thread. **** off and go cheer for someone else.

The fact Perry was hand picked by Richt and ISN'T ALREADY CLEARLY THE STARTER tells you everything you need to know.

Richt the recruiter/talent evaluator failed Richt the OC. Richt the ****** OC then in turn failed Richt the head coach.

Segregation of ******* duties is the big problem here. Richt should be managing this team/roster from a higher altitude instead of getting mired in the muck and details. He's a horrible OC and apparently has lost the ability to acquire talent at the QB position and amass a decent depth chart at said position.

Wow Brooklyndee has had it after one game? I know this game was the worst we’ve played since Al Golden was our Corch. Maybe I’m an idiot or moron but I’m still standing by the team. Not Richt, and certainly not the rest of the coaching staff especially after that debacle. I guess I’m not ready to call the year yet, who knows stranger things have happened before. Maybe the **** show gets them ****ed enough to practice harder than before. Or Richt to finally know he can no longer play Rosier. Or Manny figuring out his happy blitzing crap won’t work. There was one play richt had to ask if it was 4th down. I saw it on the screen. Its too hard to call plays and run a ceo level organization. We need a real QB coach and offensive coordinator.

I never supported Rick or his atrocious staph when it was hired. I hated the idea of hiring a failed coach from a program you need to recruit against. I hated the fact that he was a big game loser, and had trouble locking down Georgia.

His staph was a slap in the face. Manny is better than Dorito, but not good. The position coaches outside of Brown and Dugans are ALL bad. Coach kool was his one good hire, and cool left.

I'm not done on CMR. Def better than Golden & Randy, not sure Butch would be any better at this stage either. Just hope this is the wake-up call he gets to start making better decisions. Starting with himself as OC, player personnel and even his staff.

I love our fanbase, we're full swag, cut-throat, demand excellence and are not some bible beating frat school like UGA. He's on a way shorter leash here at MIAMI, no way our fanbase puts up with a decade of mediocre play and moral BS like "but CMR is such a good guy!" like he had at UGA. He has to win, otherwise it's Mario time.

I defended him but he look awful. Cant even throw a 10 yard comeback without it sailing 10 ft over the receivers head. If hes not benched were losing 4 or 5 games
