Turmoil in the Locker Room

If you read between the lines, Rick is already looking at Perry like he's Robert Marve. Perry had a whole season last year to learn the offense. With as bad as Rosier is, if Perry was ever going to be the starter, it has to be next week or it's not happening. Personally I think Richt has ultimately decided he whiffed on Perry and Weldon. Fortunately, Williams is the best of all of them.

I don't care about winning the ACC coastal again and getting blown out by Clemson, just to start all over again next year with a freshman qb. Let Williams play now. Saban just decided to sit his starter from last year. Is Williams as good as Tagaviola? Who knows. But the Hawaiian couldn't beat Hurts out last year so the fact that Williams didn't beat out Rosier in camp is irrelevant. Maybe Rick should take a lesson from Saban.

If that's the case then why wouldn't he be beating the streets right now for 1 or 2 more QBs to recruit? Can't agree with this thought process and I refuse to believe that coach Richt is at the Randy Shannon level of roster management.

Here is a question worth thinking about, what do you think Richard 's is telling his little brother and McIntosh little brother about playing for miami right now. Makes one wonder why both recruits are holding off on committing to Coach Richt. Yeah yeah I know MAR wants to play RB in college and Miami wants him as a ATH and McIntosh is supposedly a package deal with Sanguinetti but I highly doubt OU doing 1 for 2 deals.

So coach Richt needs to think long an hard about how moves forward with doubling down on continuing to play Malik.

Go Canes

Weldon was said to be deadly accurate in camp leading up to scrimmage. And he doesn’t get a shot w ones v twos. That’s bull****.

NKosi is a freakish athlete. Never gets to show he’s better than Rosier.

I’ve gotta believe Richt pulls the Green-Shockley trick out and let’s these two share snaps. May the hot hand win.

If Rosier starts, hit me up w the spring reports next year

Has anyone yearned for a SMD tweet giving us the QB order like today?

When is practice?

After the first series there wasn’t much wrong with richts play calling as receivers were running wide open and running backs had some room(some). The oline blocked good enough on a lot of plays but of course had a few bad plays as well but hey that’s LSU defense so of course their players should be expected to make plays too. Malik rosier is just not accurate enough for this offense and consistently misses throws high , can’t throw across the middle of the field, isn’t good on intermediate passes , can’t throw on the run and his deep ball is awful. He’s just not a good passing qb. From a skill set standpoint he’s the least talented of all the qbs at Miami right now

That's because all three of them never had to tote an ***-whipping from PO'd team mates who had enough!

Sounds to me like Richards was showing some real leadership - and Richt for all his BS words - doesn't like true leadership.

Because he's not providing any true leadership himself.
Nate Webster would've already fought 12 players....(I'm talking Andre vs Finnegan..in the middle of practice...)

I have a feeling after rewatching this game we're going to see our WRs wide the **** open for the most part. I think everyone clownin Richts offense are kinda off base. Talk **** about our OLines blocking especially in the Run and our QBs inability to throw a football, but I think the plays were there to be made for the most part, and LSU defense is very good.

Defensively yall ****tin on Diaz but our defense was ******* legit last year. Yall are trying to rewrite history and **** acting like we weren't at the top in sacks, tfls, turnovers, and yards per play. smdh. LSU wooped us defensively, yeah. And they also started every ******* drive in the first half on the 40 or better. What happened in the 2nd half? Didn't do much of anything. imo the biggest problem defensively is putting guys like knowles in at all, and guys like Mike Smith in too much. We don't need to keep guys overly ******* rested, especially if theres a major dropoff to the backup.
If were gonna have him at qb than we do have to rotate like that. It's a conundrum that we all recognize certain players simply shouldnt see the field. However when your defense spends so much time on field due to the offenses inability to sustain a drive you cant simply say I'm gonna ride with my starters... it's more reason to address the qb situation. Play conservative if you want but for the TEAMS sake we gotta make a change...

His pocket awareness is horrible. He takes off running into pressure sometime too

Personally I know a couple of ***g bikers that would love *** raping you. Trade ur sissy *** off for a kick stand.

Someone tell me what is so difficult about Richt's offense?!? Shït look vanilla as **** to me...and supposedly these QBs can't grasp it?!? Wow

I hate to rehash old ****, but I wanted Justin Fuentes to be our next coach. Ghey *** VT snagged his *** up.

im just not a Justin Fuente fan honestly... even though his offense has a rhyme and reason to it which bc of our current OC situation, makes it look more appealing, it's not enough of the route tree used in his system for my liking. just bubble screens and bombs w/ some RB option.

I always thought he was a solid up and coming coach. He schemes well and utilizes the talent he has to the fullest, even though they are not the most talented.

"He", is not messing with that man money. Richt is messing with that money. I understand Richards frustration, I just think its misplaced. If this was Rosier first game, then yes, snap on him. If this was Rosier just having a bad game, then yes snap on him. But this Rosier being who Rosier has always been, and everyone knows it. So go snap on the guy who knows that Rosier can't play, but keep playing him anyway.[/QQUOTE
Richt definately deserves blame but at the end of the day it APPEARS that Rosier is the best we got. He is on scholarship just like any other starter. Nothing wrong with a teamate holding another teamate accountable. Halftime is probably the wrong time to do it but he kept it in the locker room. Just because he is trash doesnt change the fact that he has a job to do. He knows the offense he is the starter. Throwing in accurately is one thing but not throwing in his direction is completely different. As bad as Richts playcalling is you cant tell me he didnt call plays designed to get the ball to Richards. Man didnt even give him jump ball oppertunities.

If Richts recruits weren’t all still freshmen (redshirt or true) that may be a fair comparison. For all the records he set wtf did Kaaya ever win? One bowl game - coached by Richt. He couldn’t beat FSU a single time.

To be fair Dalvin Cook was single handedly killing our defense

He is an Offensive minded coach that's in the perfect situation bc Bud Foster is still running the ship on defense. But is Memphis enough experience for him to have to do what was needed at Miami?

Being the face of the IPF funding project and all of the other things Richt has done as an ambassador for the program? I'm not sure he wouldve been the best hire at this time.

But yes I would rather have his offense (although limited) over what we've gotten so far... If I had to choose anyone from VT, I would take Bud Foster as our DC / asst HC in a heart beat over Diaz.
