Don’t know the kid but I’m guessing after the team implosion and awful year this year, he saw a window to bounce and get a fresh start elsewhere. He started for them this season as a true sophomore but unfortunately was sidelined for remainder of year after his injury in game 2. With all of their DL departures, I doubt anyone would have challenged him in 2023 once he returned from injury. Just wants greener pastures, can’t blame him after what happened to TAMU this year in year 5? of Jimbo’s tenure.

He redshirted in 2021 so he will be a redshirt soph at his new school.
