From what I understand he's only considering school's where they'll let him play both football and basketball, that could complicate things a little because it requires Jim Larranga to give him a roster spot.

Yes, I'm aware of that. Was there some secret conversation where someone claimed that we would try to bring Wideman on as a basketball signee?

The point is simple, if a football player wants to play basketball, then you let him do so, assuming he is not a QB. No major implications, unless the hoops roster is full. Which ours is not.
