True SEC type DT developing in our backyard for 2018

Some around needed to get over their inferiority complex.
We want Hurricane type D-Lineman, not SEC type. They copied our style, not the other way around

Must be the younger crowd who have this abused spouse syndrome with the SEC.
They probably live somewhere in Florida or in the southeast and are subjected to the SEC propaganda,
probably get laughed at and talked down by their friends and family who follow SEC programs.

This is the only explanation I can think of because I grew up following the Canes since the 1970s and I never
had any desire for UM to emulate any SEC team.
If anything USC was the team I looked up to as a model for UM to follow (and so did Schnells, btw)
.....not any of these hayseed teams.
 
If STB wants to be a dumbass and pay 247 then so be it. I don't pay for subscriptions because I don't have to. All worthwhile information appears on this site, sometimes even first. Paranos isn't much appreciated on here, but at least he gets more views than stoutbeast. If you want to be protected on 247, then hit the Fkn door. This is the jungle. Protect yo neck.

Look at the NFL draft the best DTs don't come from the SEC "Surprisingly" . Yes they get their share but DT is the hardest position evaluate

The OP was wrong for basically trying to "Connor McGregor" MedleyCane with the tough guy bravado... but yall did kind of attack the man. I hate the SEC is much as any other man but we are losing DTs to that conference at an alarming rate. Logan-LSU.....Guidry- ARK...were two DTs we actually thought we had a legit shot at. For some reason, top flight DTs are flocking to the SEC. We have to find a way to change this or we will never truly be "back.."

All that said, as long as Norton/Jenkins/Willis/Moten can hold down the fort this year..we can show recruits what kind of attacking aggressive style defense this will be now that Diaz is here and we should be able to convince some in 2017 to come on down to Coral Gables.

I expect big things from Willis and Norton in this new scheme.

No one will disagree with your statement. MFer are too quick to throw that SEC sh*t around.

We need true Miami DT's. There are plenty in Florida. They may not have the Recruiting Stars, but they have the foundation to develop!

Bingo! The majority of the top DTs in the NFL are not from the SEC.
