True or untrue: Virginia Tech is in better shape than Miami as a program

I don't care about the record. Their long-term outlook is very poor, probably one of the worst in college football. They had a legendary, program-defining coach, and he's gone. They are located in a sparsely populated area with hardly any talented football players in their immediate vicinity. In proximate areas of Virginia, Tennessee, NC, there's plenty of talent, but Blacksburg is hemmed in on all sides by significant competitors for that talent.

They had an opportunity a couple decades ago with their legendary coach Beamer, the Bud Foster D playing at a high level, and a generational talent at QB in Michael Vick. They came close but ultimately won nothing. At this point, they are **** near done.

How is this stupid *** thread still a thing?

In the last three seasons we've had:

A 9 win season
A 10 win season
Won our division and played in our conference Championship
Had a 15 game winning streak
Hosted College Game Day
Been ranked as high as #2
Started an Elite 11 QB with four years of elibigilbiy left
Set college football on fire with the TO Chain
Smashed a Top 10 team at home in one the most electric and memorable games in our history
Had 21 players drafted

And most importantly...drum roll....haven't given up FIFTY at home in a loss to Old Dominion, who went 4-8 in Conference USA.

Now do VT.

What does any of that have to do with 10/3/2019?

Our success in 2017 was short-lived fools gold for everyone but homers like you.

I'd rather fold the program than continue going 7-5 every year. Where's your pride?

Go ram your head up your ****** (whoops, too late). I am a UM alum, I have had pride in my alma mater for over 30 years.

You insist on expressing your childish petulance through "Fold The Program" slogans. What you choose to do is the mark of a loser, that if you are experiencing adversity, your decision is to quit.

I wish that Clemson had loser fans such as yourself. I'll clarify, since you aren't that bright. From 1984 (when most of Danny Ford's national championship team had graduated from Clemson) until the end of 2010 (when Dabo had been on the job for 2.5 seasons and had time to bring in his own players), Clemson went 205-119-3 for TWENTY-SEVEN YEARS. That is a .631 winning percentage. Over five coaches, Danny Ford, Ken Hatfield, Tommy West, Tommy Bowden, and 2.5 years of Dabo Swinney.

If Clemson had more loser fans like you, who were proposing "Fold The Program" due to their wounded pride, we wouldn't have to face the Clemson juggernaut in the ACC. And, sure, I know you are going to be dismissive of using Clemson as a comparison, because "they drop bags", but the issue is not Clemson today, it is the 27 years that they wandered in the desert, winning 63% of their games over 27 years. That is almost double the time that Miami has truly struggled.

Clearly, you are deriving no enjoyment from UM Football. So stop posting. Leave. It's not fun for you, and you make things miserable for other people. Take a permanent vacation. Follow another team. You need a change in your life.
