...Why are these threads being taken down?

They are Miami Hurricane related.

They are football related.

They are recruiting related.

Bear in mind that I believe in respect, and believe in being respected...But...

Honestly, the staff writer, or admin who keeps deleting these threads needs to pull their head out. I don't know if you're getting pressured to do so, or have hurt feelings, or whatever, but it needs to stop.

Its very pertinent, and topical.

As a former journalist, I know about outside pressures influencing what a paper writes. This isn't a newspaper; this is a fan opinion forum.

If you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen.

Frankly, I encourage the members of this forum to reopen another thread after each one is locked. This is unacceptable. It IS Hurricane football relevant. Shutting it down 'because I said so' is not a good enough excuse.

Great, now having a laugh at the Turds expense is now not allowed. Ridiculous.

Is anyone apologizing to us when they mock the U logo at the Rock by the UC? Kids mock rival schools. It happens. It's the era of social media. We take our licks, other schools take theirs. End of story.

I agree with OP. I'd like to chalk up this apology nonsense to the millennial generation being soft and being forced to make nice.

But nah, where the **** is our apology when other kids pull the same stunt like an upside down U? F that double-standard ish, if the Gaytors don't like it, the Gaytors don't like it. And let this be a lesson for kids that what goes on the Internet is forever on the Internet. You can't just apologize and make it disappear. Even if it's removed here, it's on Twitter, Instagram, other sites, etc. And it always will be.

Awesome. I'll be sure to properly delineate between Millennials and Generation Z going forward. Sorry to offend, carry on.

this apology things seems to me to have maybe come from the coaches at STA because they didn't want a couple of kids messing up one of their gravy trains.
They wanted to make sure that the kids apologized or at least attempted to apologize to make sure that cash kept flowing to them to have their kids consider UFAG.They didn't want UFAG to stop wanting their kids to visit.

not sure the parents or the kids themselves cared one way or the other..jmho

Probably had to do with STA being a very image conscious school, half of STA's staff is ex-NFL guys so it's almost certainly not a money thing.

If there's one major program in SFL where kids/coaches don't play the bag game it has to be STA
