Well Ivins is reporting that Fegans is taking a unofficial later this month and he is rumored to commit next month August. Meaning he already took his official here and is coming back before his commitment. So far sounds real good.

Just different with an ace recruiter. I remember Thomas Brown recruiting Don Chaney for 2 years hard but Hickson came in & within a cup of coffee had him locked down, committed. We're now experiencing this at corner. Love to see it

To sell something, you need to have something to sell.

T-Rob has put defensive backs in the NFL like no other assistant coach has done. Your job gets easier when you can show that what you are doing not only works, but works really well. It sells well to the kids that you are recruiting and to the parents and the families that want to see their son do well.

In his interview he mentioned that he wants to build relationships with the parents of the players that he is currently coaching. He was invited to Jaycee Horns draft party. Thats just something that you dont see very often.

If we land him with the prior 2, it would be arguably our greatest one class cb haul of all time. And it would be in TRob and DVDs first ever year coaching for us making it beyond amazing.

Lucky for you, I was bored enough to look into it. Yes - this would be our highest rated CB class (247) since they started doing ratings. Caveat is this would be with a class that has more than 1 commit. I looked going back to 2002 and included any player we recruited to play CB even if they came as an Ath or S.

In other non shocking news… our CB recruiting has been way below where it should be. We averaged a CB class of.897, which is the border of 3/4* players. Some of the players we signed over the last 20 years makes me want to throw up in my mouth

TVd and drob are lethal with player families. Not only do they get the parents on board but multiple other members of families as well. This get makes the spells miss irrelevant.
