Transfer season already underway

These tweets reflect a male society with waaaay too much estrogen. LOL

I think it's the opposite. It's kids wanting attention, to feel important and wanting to display that importance. Especially if they are in a situation where society wouldn't really give a **** about them if they couldn't play football. They want people to see these multi-page transfer screeds and think, "Man he sure does take football seriously. He must be a serious person." Same reason you've got teenagers talking about "business decisions" and "feeding the family." Who are viewed as serious people? Adults. And for these kids specifically, men. This is just boys trying to act how they think men act.

These kids are such tools.

Making transfer announcements on twitter and thanking the very coaching staff/administration they're ****ting on. SMH

I agree with the wanting attention part.

Given this, is anyone really surprised kids don't care about repping the U? They don't have any allegiance to their HS, why would they suddenly care about a college just because it's in Miami? I'd be surprised if there isn't money or favors being exchanged in the HS transfer process. And if there isn't yet, there will be shortly.

It is happening with the Optimist leagues so you would think it is on the high school level as well! You would be surprised at the amount of money being bet on little league football in Broward alone! Then again maybe you won't... lol!

I don't have any idea of the actual numbers, but I'm not surprised that it's happening.

The way I know that bags are getting dropped in the college recruiting game is that there's way too much money involved for people to not do every single little thing they can to gain an advantage. I wish the ncaa would look at some teams more closely (*cough* SEC *cough*), but the truth is that if you shut down what people are doing now they'll only find new ways to do what they want. It's like trying to control drugs or guns...people want them so no matter what you do people will find a way.
