went from 8.5 sacks to 4 sacks

I know it “feels” like we are getting a late start on Portal additions given how much early success other teams (notably f$u) are having, while the majority of our attention rests with high school recruits and NSD; however, I wonder how much of that is truly reality.

We did hire somebody whose primarily role is to assess portal candidates. Anybody have a sense on where we stand in terms of landing some key pieces? I know there are several visits that have taken place and few more this week(end).

How are we doing?

They being selective because they are low on official visits. So they don’t want to be bringing in guys to visit just to be doing it

This is why portal urgency is needed. None of these portal kids want to visit more than 1-2 schools. They want to secure a spot, move to the new school and get into the program.

It’s hard to navigate because a lot of kids have a good idea where they’re going. Especially the high level kids.
