How many times have you moved the goalposts now? Nobody said he was a #1 WR, and if you thought that he established that with one good year at Buffalo, then "destroyed" it with a good year at Miami, then you are the guy without eyes.
Ah, yes, the "anybody with eyes" argument". The same "anybody with eyes" that actually drafted Osborn. Yep, you're going with the unspecific "anybody with eyes" citation. Very authoritative.
You have absolutely no proof that he "would've been selected in the same position if he entered the draft after his junior season". That's just something you made up. You have no January 2019 mock draft that put Osborn in the 5th round. Osborn made the decision to transfer to Miami in January of 2019, so let's not pretend that he seriously considered entering the 2019 draft. And "anybody with eyes" could read Osborn's own words, which indicated that HE HIMSELF felt that he needed to step up his competition level during the 2019 season:
Osborn said he lacked the confidence to play at a school like Miami until he spoke to E.G. Green, the former FSU standout who was Osborn's position coach at IMG Academy in Bradenton. Osborn played one year at IMG, transferring from his hometown high school. Osborn calls Green his role model.
“He said ‘You don’t want to make a lateral move. You want to go up, like a Florida State, Miami or USC,’ " Osborn said. “He was saying those names and I was like ‘Oh. OK.’
“I was talking about TCU or Syracuse or Rutgers, West Virginia, great universities, but they’re not like Florida State or Miami. When the Miami thing started to take off, I was gaining confidence and talking to some other guys, like ‘I can play there.’ ”
So, let's review, shall we. KJ Osborn was going to transfer to TCU or Syracuse or Rutgers or West Virginia for his grad-transfer year, in order to improve his level of competition. Doesn't sound like a guy who was certain of a 5th round draft pick.
Look, you are entitled to your opinions, but is it really too much to ask you to stop making up falsehoods. It is beyond obvious for "anybody with eyes" that KJ Osborn believed and knew that he needed to face better competition than what he faced at Buffalo.
You can continue to hate Miami, but this is a kid who was going to TCU or Syracuse or Rutgers or West Virginia, not getting drafted in the 5th round after one good year at Buffalo.
