Don’t know what happened last year but in 2020 In only 7 games he had 44 tackles, 7 tfls, 5.5 sacks, and a pick.

Yep, only one inside LB in the new scheme and that transfer from Hawaii is really good (although I think they were in a battle for the starting spot). He had over 100 tackles, 14 for loss, 7 sacks and 5 forced fumbles along with an INT. First team mountain west 2yrs in a row.

I actually wish we had gotten the Hawaii guy, he is exactly what we need and I am pretty sure had a transfer offer here as well. A true ILB who can dominate the middle of the field.

Lmfao no he’s not. The Hawaii LBer they got was getting Day 2 grades this year and he play the same position that Johnson does hence the transfer.


All you do is show how out of touch you are with reality. It’s a really dumb schtick.

He was getting Day 2 grades this year. He legit has a chance to play himself into the first round of next years draft.

Fellas, If he was a top tier LB, he probably wouldn’t be in the portal. Unless the kid is from a smaller school and is looking to prove he can play with the “big dogs” (the LB from Hawaii), homesick, needing a change in scenery to reboot their careers, going thru a coaching (scheme) change, or have been passed on a depth chart, they not gonna be in the portal. It is what it is. Yeen gonna find a lot of Tyrique Stevenson’s out this muhfucca. STUD transfers don’t exist 99.5% of the time. If this kid got size, speed, talent and can improve the **** show of a LB room that we currently have….. then you sign his *** up, everyday and twice on Sundays. WTF are we arguing? Let Mario, Steele, and Strong decide if the kid can help us, or not. Again, If he was a “stud” at his current school, he wouldn’t be in the portal.

And then you go an do the same **** thing with regards to the LB from Hawaii. We don’t know how he will do at UCLA. It’s a step up in competition. Different leagues. He probably won’t have the same numbers playing in the PAC. 🤷🏾‍♂️

It’s funny, nobody seems to have considered that maybe these kids have considered that possibility. Yes, they all think they’re the best, but most of them will have thought “what if I don’t start?” Or ****, their parents probably mentioned it to them. One way or another, they didn’t all f*ck up. Maybe a&m said we’ll pay you to come for 1 year then decide if you want to stay. I know this will be shocking, but CiS isn’t always as smart as it thinks it is.
