UM should completely ICE him. Send a message by revoking his press credentials. UM's own media might be one of the few groups in the whole country who repeatedly sabotage the program they report on. It's ******* gross and needs to end.

Given the fact that there’s a dead period between when a player notifies a school and when it’s formally announced in the portal wasn’t that going to happen inevitably. I’m not a fan of what Barry did here just playing devils advocate

To be fair it’s a message board , these aren’t journalists.

Putting it in a paper with hundreds of thousands of eyes. Rumors and message boards go together like B Jackson and glory holes. Dude wrote a story that was all hearsay and rumors. That’s not journalism.

There’s a reason Ivins puts out bogus portal guesses at cb last week. It’s mostly guesses unless he gets from a hs coach , family member or player. Miami gives him jack. Barry probably will get the same.

What in the article could get UM in trouble? That some random source (you originally said the article said it was a coach which isnt true at all) told him that TS was interested in transferring? LOL. Isnt this what journalism is now? Taking some **** and throwing it against the wall and hoping its true? I see Adam Schefte and Adrian Woj doing this all the time..You guys take this stuff too personal. Who gives a ****? There was a 100 page thread on how the media killed UMs chance with Jason Marshall and I thought that was just as lame. Like one poster said, you guys give too much credit to the media and pay attention to them too much. If TS wants to come, great..if he backs off because of some **** Barry J leaked..then fine as well. On to the next one..

What if they look at this and investigate and find something else? What if TS gets talked out of it now? It was complete garbage by him he is a snake. The board is right, this wouldn’t happen anywhere else.
