Information isn't getting deleted. Speculation is. It's a failure to follow one simple rule.

Don't post names that aren't already in the portal.
 
I hope Davis isn’t the CB. Dude was a 3 star WR coming out of highschool. He isn’t a plug and play CB for this team.

Picture this. Somebody with no clue who it is throws out a name. That individual later on decides to transfer and picks Miami. How does that look?

Understood. But isn't threads where certain insiders calling a DE and CB to Miami, although no specifics, before they enter the portal just as bad? Especially once those insiders circle back and confirm that those were the players he was alluding to?

I didn't even think about this but it's a valid point for sure.
Genuine question though, why doesn't this apply for high school recruits.

If our coaches were involved directly with those players then yes but that isn’t the case here. Players have friends on other teams who they talk to. They have others who they talk to. Those people may or may not - on their own - gauge interest.
